Update log for Serial Addressable RGB PWM LED Driver web page

[back]

21/02/2008   The full versions of the code that support the 7-segment module and colour fade / servo slewing are now available to download free-of-charge.  However, donations are gratefully accepted.
13/11/2007   Ported the RGB driver code across to a 16F628A. (16F627A).
25/10/2007   Added three new commands to the RC Servo Driver + updated supporting software to use them.
24/10/2007   Free version of the RC Servo Driver firmware now available to download. Updated versions of the chromic command interpreter and zfrgb.exe tool with support added for the servo driver also available for download
22/10/2007   Now have working an addressable 3 channel RC servo driver.  Uses the same command structure as the RGB LED PWM driver so you can mix both devices on one bus.  Will upload the free version of the servo driver firmware in the next couple of days once I've finished testing.
21/10/2007   Fix bug in chromic.exe, latest version is 1.1.3
19/10/2007   Released chromic.exe, command language interpreter for controlling the Serial Addressable RGB PWM Driver
16/10/2007   Made changes to the Group Addressing functionality.  It now supports Group Row & Column modes.  This is not backward compatible with original Group Addressing in zf690a.hex.

New version of code, zf690b.hex is now on the download link.  The Command Interface application has also been modified to support the new Group Addressing modes.

14/10/2007   Free version of the code for the 16F690 is now available for download.
Full version will be available for download shortly.
Removed the 16F88 code and schematics from the site

11/10/2007   Modified code to run with 16F690 and added support for Common Cathode + Common Anode 7-Segment displays. Will upload free version of code after final testing in next 48 hours
09/10/2007   Redrawn schematics for 16F690 based SAD.  Built a development rig with three SAD's for code testing - working nicely.
