On this page are some
photos taken while assembling boards to go into four mood lights I
was making for Christmas presents. They are presented here
just to give some additional references for assembling the PCB and
building your own mood lights
The switch for the
lights I am building here needed to be mounted on the outside of the
assembled light so rather than soldering it directly to the PCB it
is connected by some short leads.
I also soldered the
PIC directly to the PCB rather than using a socket since I know the
people receiving them aren't likely to want to reprogram the PIC and
heaven forbid they develop a fault, well I'll end up fixing up it
anyway.
